WWW.OOHWEE.NETnspired by some of the greatest deejays to ever hit the game to this day. As a teenager, Prince grew up listening to Funk Master Flex on 97 daily and even seeing the late great Jam Master Jay at work in the inspiring deejay’s own home town of Queens.  This would lead to be a great inspiration for him and later lead to more and more determination.  Almost two years later of starting this dream, Prince met his cousin, Funk Regulata Celo, who was a Big Dawg Pitbull, DC’s #1 DJ still to this day, and one of Funk Master Flex’s deejays.  This gave the young inspired deejay a chance to learn the ins and outs on becoming a deejay and about the music industry as well.
Finally seeing the determination their son had for becoming a deejay, they bought him his very own turntables.  At the age of 15, Prince Morgan would now be known by another name: DJ Prince.  His goal now was to become a power play deejay in Queens and to one day become one of the greatest deejays to hit the scene.  Practicing in his basement every day, for 2-3 hours a day, DJ Prince would start his career getting gigs at family events, friends’ parties and other events as well. By the time Prince was 18, he started doing mixtapes and other promotions for his career.  This led to him moving to Mississippi.  He moved to a town called Hattiesburg.  Deejaying at popular clubs in the area, college parties, step shows, and other events was taking his deejaying career to the next level.
Later moving to Atlanta, Georgia, DJ Prince teamed up with as many underground artists as he could, in order to build a name for himself and to be able to network and get a chance to meet the right people.  This would work out well in his favor.  Eventually he met a group of people who were working on their own television show called Atlanta Get Crunk, wanted DJ Prince to be a part of it as well.  It aired every Saturday at 3 A.M. after Big Oomp Camp TV show on UPN.  This would give DJ Prince a name in the underground scene, leading him to get booked for lots of big parties and club gigs throughout Atlanta.
After a year of living in Atlanta, Prince was meeting more and more people and decided to go on the road so he can spread his name throughout the states.  He then moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina, which was a military town.  A lot of people questioned why he would move to an area where nothing really goes on, but this is where he wanted to be.  He met with the club manager at a club called the Party Zone Nite Club.  It held over 2,000 people and had two sides.  One side played all Latin music and the other side would play all Hip-Hop.  He auditioned on a night that the crowd volume was low.  He told the manager to let him have that night and he will pack the club out.  By putting together a good team and promoting the club strongly brought many people from surrounding cities and states to Jacksonville, North Carolina, and giving Prince an even bigger name for himself.
DJ Prince started releasing mixtapes of new music before any other deejay could get a chance.  Every Saturday, hundreds and hundreds of people from all over, were given new mixtapes of new music and new artists.  This wouldn’t make it hard for the deejay to spread his name out there or to get noticed. Before DJ Prince even noticed his hard work paying off, he was catching the attention from club owners and managers from all over.  He was offered a job to deejay at the biggest club on the strip of Myrtle Beach, in South Carolina which was Club Exceptions.  Seeing that the travel time was only 2 hours from Jacksonville, he decided to take the job and would travel back in forth between the two states.  From top 40 clubs to strip clubs, DJ Prince was becoming a high demand deejay for the Myrtle Beach area.  People from all over the world came to party on the beach and in the clubs that DJ Prince was deejaying in.  Seeing this being a good opportunity, he then decided to move to the area permanently and work on building his brand, Servin These Streets Mixtapes.
Due to having a strong faith in God, DJ Prince has never given up on his dreams and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.  Traveling back and forth between Atlanta and Myrtle Beach and to other cities as well, DJ Prince has been able to market himself as a high demand deejay and for mixtapes as well.  He also works with a lot of independent artists helping them get their music heard.  DJ Prince has also worked with some of the hottest artists and deejays out there, doing mixtapes and shows.  Whether it’s through the web, mixtapes, radio or television, you will know about DJ Prince and Servin These Streets.
