Diamond Princess..whose real name is QuWanda McCoy was born and raised in the streets of Atlanta, on the Westside from Bowen Homes to Herdon Homes to the Bluff to Mechanicville with a lil bit of Four Seasons and lets not forget Cascade Rd. Diamond Princess attented Atlanta Public Schools, which were English Ave, Peyton Forrest Elem, SouthWest Middle School to Carver High School. During her school days and even now, Mz. Princess has always been a very articulate person and HIGHLY educated. Mz. Princess attended Atlanta Technical College were she received her diploma in Cosmetology and Paralegal Studies, she didn't stop there, she later went to Georgia State University to work on her B.A in Criminal Justice Social Science, however, due to working and raising her kids as a single parent, things got a little hetic for her, she left with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice Social Science, nevertheless, this potent black woman returned and is now in the process of receiving her B.A in Criminal Justice Social Science.
During her adolescent years Diamond decided to leave home and be on her own due to some personal issues, at that time she got introduced to the hardest streets of Atl.....never used drugs and dont drink, she found away to survive in the hood. From being raised around the biggest Drug Dealers, Diamond learned the ins and outs of the streets. Diamond was first introduced to the music industry by Kilo Ali, which at that time they resided in Bowen Homes, from there she met Black, Lil Mark & J Man { City Boys}, to Carlos{ Shawty Lo}to Zanta{ Buck Summerhill} to D.J. Hershey, as you can see she was arounds talent before the talent hit the streets. Also during that time, she was also introduced to the Big Oomp Camp were she became a lil sister to D.J. Jelly, Big Oomp, Voodoo, Baby D, B Real, Lil Bosky, and many more....as her talent begin to open up she decided to get on a couple of songs of her own. Diamond later united with the 1st hardcore, underground rap group THE HARD BOYZ, which she later married Royal C of the HARD BOYZ, and they share a daughter together name Princess {5} which she is also into the music, even though things didnt work out between them, as of today, they set aside their differences to raise their daughter.
As the years went on, Diamond has reunited with her brother Hip Hop Rap Artist "Gucci Mane" and her sister Gail Smiley, and at that time they decided to take the game to another level. With the help of her sister Gail, which is a Grand Hustle Affilate and Universal Affilate, Gail decided that she and Diamond drop their own record label..So coming June 2011, these young, black, articulate, authoritarian, buoyant, women will drop one of the most talked about labels to hit ATLANTA. Black Platinum 317 Records. This will make music history.
